Eltorque develops, manufactures, and markets electric actuators and control systems for the international shipbuilding and onshore industries.
The company’s headquarter is located in Trondheim, Norway. Additionally, we are present with sales representatives and production facilities abroad, including our manufacturer in China. Our ambition is to be wherever the customers are, and our employees dedicate themselves to making Eltorque the preferred electric valve control solutions partner.

 

Our goal is to provide the cleanest and most intelligent valve control solution on the market, with components that last the vessel’s lifetime. And together, we have developed several innovative products that have gained a good foothold in the maritime market. As a result, over 120,000 of our electric actuators have been installed on board over 1,000 ships worldwide.

Eltorque is currently experiencing growth. So, we’re looking for our new R&D Engineers. Our R&D team consists of a group of very hardworking and brilliant engineers. That is why we grow and grow, and we even recently got awarded Best International Business of Mid-Norway!

So we asked the team to describe why even more brilliant engineers would want to come and work for us. They said that every engineer probably dreams of working somewhere like Eltorque, where you get to be very hands-on, use your creativity, and see results so quickly! And also, of course, work with the best R&D team in history. !

SW:

  • Python (mainly)
  • C/C++ (nice to have)

 

FW:

  • C/C++
  • Motor control
  • CANopen
  • Wireless communication

 

ELECTRONICS/HW:

  • Altium Designer
  • LTSpice
  • Testing/measuring experience
  • AC/DC power electronics
  • Motor drive
